Adelaide, 23 May 2023 - Alinea Group, in association with Leedwell and on behalf of Mount Barker District Council, is thrilled to launch the Expressions of Interest (EOI) campaign for Summit, Australia’s premier regional leisure and entertainment hub.
Developers, investors and operators are invited to shape the next stage of this exciting and landmark tourism, sport, leisure, and entertainment development in the heart of the iconic Adelaide Hills. The project is strategically positioned to respond to strong demand drivers, being centrally located within one of Australia’s leading tourism regions and in South Australia’s fastest-growing local government area. With over $100m of committed and future investment in the community and leisure assets by Council, the project presents an exceptional opportunity for qualified parties and consortia to leverage and create a compelling destination precinct.
Partnering opportunities via this EOI process are sought for:
- Regional Aquatic & Leisure Centre Operator - Operation of the Regional Aquatic & Leisure Centre
- Summit Leisure & Entertainment Park Precinct Partner - Development and operation of the Summit Leisure & Entertainment Park (balance of the developable area withinSummit ~30 hectares)
- Summit Leisure & Entertainment Park Individual Operators - Operation of complementary uses in the Precinct
Expressions of Interest are to be submitted by 5pm ACDT, Thursday 20 July 2023.

- Exceptional scale - Summit comprises 50ha master planned precinct including:
- Summit Sports & Recreation Park ~20ha - $25m invested to date
- Summit Leisure & Entertainment Park ~ 30 ha (subject of the EOI)
